Nestled in the heart of the nations capital, Kings Own Barbershop is focused on an elevated grooming experience with a relaxed atmosphere and traditions that will send you back in time, including our straight blade shaves! We take pride in the work that we do, and count ourselves as master craftsmen to honour a timeless trade, with a focus on providing top notch service and quality.

​Founded by Christopher Lord, Ottawa Faces Magazine Winner Best Barber 2019 and top 15 barbers in Ottawa by Narcity. Christopher’s work has been featured in magazines and on television. Not only is he known as a barber but a philanthropist. He is a board member for Hair Donation Ottawa (a cancer research organization), and the Director of Media Relations and resident barber for Shadow Ottawa, an organization that helps alleviate homelessness. Christopher is very passionate about giving back and believes in being part of his community. Kings Own Reserve, their in house product line, was founded in 2017 and is sourced from all-Canadian, natural products. With every product sold, Christopher donates $1.00 to help continue supporting the marginalized.
